COURSE DETAILS

Course Essentials Simplified

You must have completed Level 1 Spinal Manipulation course first. Or hold previous qualifications in spinal manipulation therapy. Please contact the OMT team if you need clarification.
ALL students must participate fully in receiving and administering manipulation.
You should NOT attend this course if any reason prevents full participation.
This course is NOT suitable for pregnant participants.

Course Materials and Learning

You'll receive course handbooks.
Lecturers will present structured PowerPoint content.
Take additional notes for specific areas and techniques.
Handbooks and PowerPoints serve as memory aids.
Lecturers adapt content based on student backgrounds or disciplines.

Preparation is Key

You are ADVISED to refresh your knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology before the course.
Failing to meet the required knowledge level may result in being asked to leave.

OMT Training will introduce the participants of the Level Two. An Advanced Osteopathic and Chiropractic Manipulation Course, to a whole new selection of manipulation techniques. Based on our published books and research.

This 2 Day Practical Training Course will give students the following:
- 16 Hours: Two full days of face-to-face teaching.
- Diverse Techniques: Learn multiple High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) techniques and adaptations.
- Continuous Assessment: Assessment throughout the course to track your progress.
- Competency Test: A concise 30-45 minute written test for all students.
- Mastery of Cervical Manipulation: Develop a safe and effective basis for neck manipulation techniques.
- Practical Skills: OMT Spinal Manipulation equips you with valuable skills for your clinical practice.
- Evidence-Based Learning: Dive into the scientific evidence and current research on manipulation techniques.
- Pain Management: Discover how to apply manipulation to treat acute and chronic pain. As well as a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Safety and Competence: Leave with the confidence, clinical competence and a high level of safety in using manipulation techniques.
Spinal Manipulative techniques for the following spinal sections:
- OA-AA and CSP
- Cervical Thoracic Junction (C7-T1)
- Thoracic Spine (T1-T12)
- Ribs / GH / AC
- Thoracic Lumbar Junction (T12-L1)
- Lumbar Spine (L1-S1) and Pelvis
- Upper Extremity Techniques including elbow and hands
- Lower Extremities including knee, foot and ankle
Note – This course is flexible to meet the students needs and additional or adaptive techniques maybe introduced.

Jimmy has more than 15 years teaching in the health and fitness industry. I initially graduated with a BSc Sports & Exercise Science. I also completed the BTEC sports and remedial massage diploma in the U.K.

Further development led me to complete a 5 year BSc Osteopathy.

I am proud to share the knowledge I've gained from different areas of the health and fitness industry with others.

I have gained various manual therapy skills through years of experience. I strongly believe that exercise and involving patients in it are key to successful results.

I co-developed OMT Training. To allow access to high quality training to all in the manual therapy industry. We hope that you find all our courses interesting, informative and above all lots and fun to do. We all feel that learning has to be fun.

International expert in HVLA manipulation and manual therapy techniques

Giles is a musculoskeletal specialist. He has over 15yrs experience in manual therapy. He graduated from the college of osteopaths in London. He moved into clinical practice and then into lecturing writing and researching.

Giles is seen as an international expert in HVLA and Mobilisation Techniques. He has written 4 books on Osteopathic and Chiropractic Techniques. And published many research journals on the topic of manual therapy.

Giles lectured in over 45 countries worldwide. He worked with Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Arsenal, Southampton FC. In addition to Crystal Palace, NBA Memphis Grizzlies and NBA Oklahoma Thunder among others. Giles’s approach to treating and teaching is evidenced based approach. looking at the combination of education, exercise and manual therapy for the individual.
